Jalan-jalan cari makan…

Today, I join a group of friends and my cousin out to mainland. We come to this nice place but honestly the food wasn’t that nice as they recommended in Cari forum.

Here is some of the food we order and some I didn’t snap. Sorry if the photo wasn’t that nice because I not so interesting in food photography yet.

The fun part is I get to try HDR photography. Practicing time. Here is the outcome, the final result.

We also drop by at Mengkuang Dam for some photo shooting before heading back to Penang island.

Steamboat dinner and movie night

Just few more days from now, she will be leaving and heading back to Georgia, US for her studies in fashion design. Treating her a farewell dinner and decided to go eat steamboat as I promised to treat her Tom Yam Steamboat.

I choose Golden BBQ Steamboat Restaurant which located in Nagore Road, which is between Penang Plaza and New World Park. We eat a lot because this is a so called eat-all-you-can buffet style steamboat. I’m sure many of you know this place too.

Look at the delicious Tom Yam soup and yummy beef. The beef is nice and kinda fresh.

At the end of the dinner, she gave me a nice present and a letter. The present is a music box but I didn’t read the letter.

So next destination, GSC Gurney Plaza. To watch movie, Laughing Gor 之變節.

It was a very nice movie but it was kinda confuse me with the storyline. Check out the trailer:

I going to miss her and will be seeing her again during her summer holiday next year.

Mizi Bistro, New World Park

Finally, get the chance to visit Mizi Bistro in New World Park. I was there with few friends having our dinner after a tiring photo shoot since afternoon until night with 2 models.

I love their mushroom soup, it was one of the best I ever tasted for a very long time.

I ordered Fish Gordon Bleu as my main course. It was very nice and special. I recommend this to everyone if you like Fish & Chips, this is special and much nicer compare to Fish & Chips.

Here is few main course that my friends choose. Sorry, I can’t remember the name but here is the photo of it.

The total amount that billed was RM90.20 (include 10% service charge which is RM8.20) for 4 persons. Not bad and definately I will visit it again to try other dishes.
